​Hi everyone! I'm Denee Francese-Smith
I am a student of the body. All of it. The physical, the emotional, the spiritual. I am a massage therapist, reiki practitioner + breathwork guide.
I am fascinated by the intersection of spirit and science and love to explore that through my bodywork.
I don’t see the body as separate parts. I see it as one whole, beautiful system. When we work on one area, something else shifts too. This workshop is a beautiful blend of working with multiple planes of the body. We work the fascia to shift the spirit. We breathe for expression which shifts the fascia. The interconnected system is absolutely beautiful.
I have not always been connected to my voice. It’s been a journey to get to this place and I still have a journey ahead of me.
I was stuck in a job I was supposed to love,
a relationship I was supposed to want,
and a life that looked perfect from the outside.
Can you relate?
I had the house, the family, the career, the future even I had prayed for growing up.
Sound familiar?
But, something wasn’t right.
Something felt so misaligned and foreign.
I couldn’t feel me.
I couldn’t feel the thread to my insides, my purpose, to my voice. ​

My body needed the breath

​to empty out the energy that was blocking me from speaking
blocking me from feeling
blocking me from connecting.
It needed my hands to melt into my fascia to tell her it’s okay,
safe to open,
safe to unwind,
safe to be.
I needed to alchemize my grief, to scream into the ethers, to open up the tissues on my chest and let the grief drip from my pores.
And be held.
Witnessed.
Loved.
